The present position of woman in India has changed. Goodwill of woman has increased with the changing scenario. If we take into account, then we can see woman is actively participating into the society. There are many cases where woman is still struggling hard to become a respectful part of the society and is still facing many challenges. These come under the category of rural area women. To foster the image of these women, we need to organize campaigns to make them alert at every level and to support them on every step, to take suitable actions in the society.

Women Commission has been focusing in rural areas along with urban areas. Literacy and education have spread due to various schemes of the government and because of this the commission is getting success in carrying the information of rights to the women in rural areas. Media is also playing an important role in showing sensitivity towards issues related to women.

It was said that Capital punishment is very important. It was also suggested that they should be made impotent so they repent every day of their life. It is very important, unless such punishments are meted to the culprits, women will not feel secure in our country. Just passing a resolution won’t be sufficient and the step needs to be backed by strong action.

This was all the main theme of the seminar “Fostering Women (Mahila Adhikarita)” which was organized with the joint association of National Women Commission and MESSAGE Institution, an event held at Biyani Group of Colleges, State capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

It was also told us that women victims of rape cases face tribulations as the officials are not aware of their responsibilities, powers and jurisdiction. In the series of inaugural program, Purnima koul convener MESSAGE institution welcomed the guests and introduced the topics of workshop.

There were two sessions held in the seminar. First session took the round table conference, in which students of Law from ModiCollege, Lakshmangarh, took part with their own presentations in pairs. At the end of the first session, an open discussion was held, so that everybody’s thoughts and questions were put forth and discussed about.

After lunch the second session started in which it was the time to share the thoughts of the chief guests gathered for the purpose. Started with a little introduction about MESSAGE Institution, Mayor Jyoti Khandelwal, (Municipal Corporation, Jaipur) said that, “The mindset about violence against women would change only when women themselves stand up to eliminate the difference between darkness and light and declared categorically that there would be no compromise with the criminals.

Hon’ble guest Jyoti Khendelwal (Municipal Corporation, Jaipur)) Dr. Vidya Jain; Dean Centre for Gandhian Studies, University of Rajasthan,  Prof.Pawan Surana former Chairperson state women commission, Educationist Prof. Dr.Satish Shastri (Dean, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, MIT) ,Sanjay Biyani (Director Biyani group of College), Sr. journalist Shripal Shaktawat, and Mr.NC Goyal ( Sr. Advocate Raj. High court) delivered speeches about the welfare of women and their rights. They also talked about the present states or changes of women of Rajasthan.

Social Worker Sandeep Bahal (NRUDT), Dr. Beena Agarwal  (Vice Prisident RUWA), Nisha Siddhu (NFIW), Nishat Husen (Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan), Avinesh Malik (Navdisha Alwar) Dr.Jyoti Agrwal (Chikitsa jyote Udaipur), Bhawar Kanwar, Sanganer  (Jaipur Rural), Seema Patodia (Parsad Vidhyadhar Nagar) Manju Sharma (Parshad JMC) Ravi Kamra, Ladli Sansthan (Sikar) also shared a few words with the gathering. Members of various Social Welfare Services and Women Group from all over the Rajasthan were present in the event and share their views on this very important topic of women empowerment and safety. The present states of women is tried to be shown with the help of this seminar.

After the speeches of the guests, the discussion was declared open for all. Many students asked questions to the experts. And their queries were answered and discussed then. The session was concluded when the girls took an oath not to favor dowry and to fight for their rights. Never be discouraged by the man dominated society and will take right actions at the right time against injustice towards women.

DRISTI Awareness Campaign

MESSAGE organize a painting competition  in different schools of Jaipur

with an aim to create mass awareness among the children .During the competition the children will express their feelings on paper with the colors on the subject- “Sense of civic responsibility for persone with disability ”. Event at St. Mary Convent School, Jaipur.

Almost 200 children participate the event. The top 20 finalists from the event will be awarded by prize. This is an emotional campaign where the main concern is to bring out the hidden creativity of children. Our major concern is to remove disparity from the society especially who are not part of the mainstream. The event is all for the children, it is a day for them to give their ideas and imagination a shape ”. The paintings will be judged by renowned master painter Mr. Surendra pal Joshi, Mrs. Renuka Bhatnagr and Principal St. Mary Convent School Sister Kiran.

A campaign launched by 'MESSAGE' on 3rd December -The International

disability day.

On the Day of International Disability Day MESSAGE Organization the

field of social security and awareness launched campaign "DRISHTI"-A Way Of Hope,to fight for visually impaired. According to the convener Purnima Koul in the first phrase of campaign visually impaired meritorious students from all over the Rajasthan will be benefited by the cornea transplant technique to connect them to the main stream with the support of Rajasthan Eye Bank Socity, Navdisha Alwar, NRUDT and other NGO's.

50 thousand youth volunteer of Rajasthan Student Union to fight  for

visually impairedness and to spreads awareness about the Eye Donation

among people as well as gives information about campaign .

EYE DONATION - Myths and Misconception
There are lots of myths and misconceptions regarding eye donation. It is due to lack of awareness. Anyone can donate their eyes : even if he or she is wearing spectacles or have previously undergone eye surgery. People with diabetes, hypertension and other systemic disorders like asthma, tuberculosis, heart disease and even those with damaged retina or optic nerve can donate their eyes.
Why donate?

• There are about 1.1 million corneally blind persons in the country. Another 25,000 are added each year. Eye donation in India today meets less than five percent of the demand for corneal transplants. 
• Only a human donor cornea can alleviate another person’s corneal blindness. 
• Eye donation is an opportunity to help save a life or restore someone’s sight. Eye, organ, and tissue donation are consistent with the beliefs and attitudes of all major religions. 
• The great thing about corneal tissue is that everyone is a universal donor. Your blood type doesn’t have to match. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what color your eyes are or how good your eyesight is. 

What causes corneal blindness?

The cornea can get damaged through accidents. Children, while playing with sharp objects (e.g. bows and arrows ,pen, pencil, etc.) can accidentally damage their cornea. Corneal blindness can also happen to elders. Some of the industrial causes are chemical bums, flying debris or road accidents. The cornea can get damaged due to infections and malnutrition as well.

Is there a cure for corneal blindness?

Yes. Removing the damaged cornea and replacing it with a healthy cornea by surgery can cure corneal blindness. Till date the treatment of the corneally blind people is corneal grafting. Artificial corneas have not yet been developed and hence the only source for cornea is from our fellow human beings.The first corneal transplant took place in 1905.

What is the source for the cornea?

Fortunately, cornea can be removed from a deceased person within six hours of death and can be used for surgery. Artificial cornea has not yet been developed nor is there any other objective. The eyes, which would ultimately be consigned to flames, or buried along with the body, can restore sight to two or moer needy people.

Facts about eye donation

• Eyes should be donated within 6-8 hrs. of death. 
• Anyone can be a donor, irrespective of age, sex, blood group or religion. 
• One cornea is grafted to one person. 
• Total removal time is about 15-20 minutes. 
• Spectacle wearers, hypertensive and diabetics can also donate. 
• There is no disfigurement of the donor’s face. 
• Total procedure takes 15-20 minutes. 
• Eyes can be donated even if the deceased had not formally 
• pledged their eyes during their lifetime. 
• The eye bank team will immediately reach the donor’s home to collect the eyes. This service is free. 
• Eyes are never bought or sold. 
• All religions endorse eye donation. 

Myths about eye donation

• Face/ Body will be disfigured.
• Will be born blind in next birth.
• Will not be able to see GOD.

Important points

• To donate eyes, the relatives of the deceased should do the following procedures 
• Close the eyelids of the deceased 
• Switch off the fan 
• Raise the head of the deceased slightly by placing a pillow underneath 
• Contact the nearest eye bank as quickly as possible. 
• Give the correct address with specific landmarks and telephone number to enable the eye bank team locate the place easily 
• If the death certificate from the physician is available, keep it ready 
• Eye donation can be done only with the written consent of the next of kin in the presence of two witnesses 

Conclusions 

• Pledge to donate your eyes. Make it a family tradition
• Motivate and educate others about eye donation
• Motivate the next of kin of the deceased person to donate their eyes.

Star Cricket Academy Winn The MESSAGE Rising Cup Cricket Championship

final match Rajiv Gandhi Club will take on Star Cricket Academy in the final of the Rising Cup cricket Championship on Saturday.

Saturday, The 7^th of July, was the final day for the Rising Cup, Star Academy has captured the ownership of the cup after the week long fantastic performance. The match has reached to the ball out decision as it is a tie among the two teams. The match coordinator Mr. Tarun Sharma has declared the match as Draw, after which the Star academy has won the series in ball out competition after taking the crucial wicket.

After the match the chief guests which includes, The Vice President of the state Congress Committee Mr. Rajeev Arora. Honorable Mayor of Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Mrs. Jyoti Khandelwal has presented the trophy “The RISING CUP” along with the cheque of     Rs. 11000 to the Star Academy (Winning Team).

The Runner up team has given a fantastic competition to the Star Academy. Runner up team which is Rajeev Gandhi Club has also shown the immense performance. The competition of the match was so immense, that the interest of the pavilion continued till the last ballof the match. Runner Up Award is given to the Rajeev Gandhi Club.

Man of the series is awarded to Abhijeet Tomar from Star Academy, who has displayed the memorable performance in the entire series. Man the match award has been awarded to Arvind from Star Academy for the wonderful performance.

Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Arora & The Mayor of Jaipur Nagar Nigam Mrs. Jyoti Khandelwal, has appreciated the MESSAGE INSTITUTION” for the entire efforts of increasing the awareness and connecting them to the spirit of sports. Mr. Rajeev Arora said in the ceremony that the organization is putting the best effort to bring out the sport spirits of the youth, despite the little availability of the sport grounds in the state.

Due to increasing unemployment, we have been unable to keep our youth busy in constructive works. We fail to help them in realizing their dreams and hence they get lost and go in the wrong direction as the saying goes "An empty mind is the devil's workshop".

World Environment Day “RUN for Environment

Awareness campaign on  World Environment Day “RUN for Environment- A run for a clean, green and healthy environment” "Say no to polythene Bag, Save environment.”

 Jaipur, 05 June  We salute to the state government of Rajasthan for taking such an enterprising decision to save environment by restricting the uses of poly-ethane carry bags. But unfortunately still this is not well conceived by common public as people are using carry bags.

            So, to propagate the task at vast level we plan In the framework of the June 5th World  Environment Day, MESSAGE Organisation  and NRUDT, organized a awareness activity under the slogan "Say no to polythene Bag, save environment. A run for a clean, green and healthy environment.”

On the occasion of World Environment Day 5 June 2012, a public awareness campaign was jointly organized by MESSAGE Institution  Traffic Police and Municipal Corporation Jaipur at major traffic hubs of city.  Volunteers were located primarily at various road crossings and advertised World Environment Day, as well as handing out posters, pamphlets and stickers to the vehicle drivers. This campaign aimed at spreading awareness about environmental problems and other issues related to it.

Campaign was flagged off by Honorable Minister Environment  Bina Kak and Mayor Jaipur Municipal corporation with unveiling the “Say No to Polythene and Save Environment” poster ,striker and pamphlets. Environment Prinicpal Secretary VS Singh, Commissioner Jaipur Mr. BL Soni were among many other distinguished personalities present at the occasion. DCP (Traffic) Lata Manoj leveled stickers on the vehicles and launched the awareness drive which covered Ramnivas Garden, Central Park, Rambagh, Ajmeri Gate, Yadgar, Choti Chopar, Sindhi Camp Bus Stand .

Later in the Morning at  11.00 AM, a seminar on Environment “Say no to Polythene”was also organized in Pink City Press Club . Youth displayed their keen interest in the topic and showed great enthusiasm for the event.   The programme started at 11.00 am and continued until the After noon. Informative leaflets, posters, brochures and newsletters were distributed to the visitors, which helped to increase knowledge on environment.

The goodwill of women increases in the of world– Mamta Sharma

Jaipur, May 26, 2012. National Women Commission chairperson Mamta Sharma said the goodwill of women has increased in the present system of the world. She said active participation of women can be seen in every step of the human society, but even today women have to face many challenges. Women are unaware of their constitutional rights especially the rural women, whom are to be made aware about their rights. National Women Commission is committed to make women alert at every level towards their rights. For this, women empowerment campaign is being run in the entire country. She said this campaign has got wide support from every section of the society.

Mamta Sharma was addressing a national seminar organised by National Women Commission and Message Organization at Poornima Engineering College. The seminar focussing on Women Rights, Empowerment campaign was also addressed by Message organization spoke person Purnima Koul She said that Women Commission has been focussing in rural areas along with urban areas. She said literacy and education have spread due to various schemes of the government and because of this, the commission is getting success in carrying the information of  rights to the women in rural areas. She praised media for its sensitivity towards the issues related to women.

Justice Panachand Jain said women have been given equal rights as of men based on constitution. He said rural women do not have information about their rights due to which they become the victim of exploitation at many levels. Education and information of law can only free them from this exploitation.

On this occasion CRPF IG Ravindra Tomar said women’s interest has increased towards police and defence services. Women are playing commendable role in country’s internal and external security services. He said there are many types of adverse situations at the work place before working women, which is subject of concern, although, there are many laws to build positive environment for women. He stressed on the need of women knowing these laws and rights.

Poornima Group of Institute president Dr SM Seth said that only with widespread of education, the women empowerment campaign can be made popular in each and every village in the country. He said along with science and technical education, the institute has made special wing for creating awareness of social issues and rights associated with women.

Rajasthan University’s Law College vice principal Dr Madhu Shastri said help of law could not be taken without awareness. The women themselves have to take initiative to get rid of the situation. The law is with women in every tough time. She said the representation of women has increasing in getting law education, which is a positive indication for the society.

The keynote speaker of the seminar Dr Raj Kumar Vyas gave detailed introduction of the women empowerment campaign and expressed the need of mixed efforts. Dr Vyas called positive thinking to be the base of social change. He praised national and state women commission along with Message Sansthan for their coordinated efforts.

Large number of women from rural areas of Jaipur district attended the seminar, along with students of Poornima College too actively participated and asked questions to subject experts.

On this occasion, social activists working in the field of women empowerment were felicitated. In the end, Message Sansthan’s Deepak Goswami gave vote of thanks to participants.

The reason behind these,  they are not aware of their rights & equally that are not being implemented properly. We have to find out those basic rights which our women should be aware to have gender equality in the society. Lets summarise the rights of women so that a major part of them could be covered.

The Seminar on Women Rights in India will focus on the

Collective awareness and improvement  in creating a better life of women and towards a better future. Discussions will be held to  spread awareness  about the increasing crimes against women and the increasing  disparity in gender equality. Stress will be given on awareness to become more sensitive towards gender justice and respect the contribution made by women to the society and the  nation. Women also should aware of  the legal procedures and remedies against  offences  meted to them.

At the end of the seminar there will be  a question answer session amongst the participant and the speakers.

The free distribution of medicines for all was a scheme announced by chief minister Ashok Gehlot. The state health department is all set to launch the 'Free Distribution of Generic Medicine Scheme' in the state from October 2. The scheme ensures free medicines for all indoor and outdoor patients. For the implementation of the scheme, Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation has been constituted and a centralized purchasing system has been developed.

Mediation is one of the Alternative Dispute Resolution methods. Under the provisions of Sec.89 Civil Procedure Code, the Parties can settle their cases arriving at compromise with the aid of Mediators. The Role of Mediators is to guide and assist the parties to explore the possibilities of settlement and to know about the pros and cons of the litigation / settlement. The mediators neither settle the dispute nor pass the award, but they guide the parties thereby the parties may arrive at terms of settlement on their own.
